The Hawkesdale Community Library is open to the community on Wednesdays from 3.30-5pm during the school term. 

Term Dates for 2025 include:

Anyone can join as a member and come to access the internet, borrow books and use the space.

The kinder students from the Hawkesdale and District Preschool visit the library each week for story time and borrowing in preparation for their transition from kinder to prep.

We also run a monthly book club for members of the community. For more information, you can head to our group chat. 

To access the library, enter the school via the front gate on Mitchell St and walk down the bus loop to the library - marked in yellow. As this is outside of school hours, a Working with Children Check is not required.
