Students at our school get to participate in a wide range of sports. We have house sports including a swimming carnival in term 1, Athletics in term 2 and Cross Country in term 3.
Students who achieve success at these school events are given the opportunity to compete at District, Zone, Regional and the State competition.
Secondary students also get to go to interschool sports days including the Mid-Western Complex, interschool netball, football and cricket. Throughout the year, staff and senior students get together in friendly staff vs students netball and basketball games too.
Primaries compete in Moyne District Sports events, which provides an opportunity for students to progress to the next level in Swimming, Athletics, Cross country, soccer, football, netball and cricket.
We enter teams in ‘Hotshots’ tennis and Basketball Victoria’s ‘Hooptime’ competition and offer come and try events like the Try-athlon for students in years 3-6.
All schools in our Moyne District are responsible for hosting and running a sporting event, therefore we are not only competing against, but as we meet and share buses through-out the year, we are building strong relationships with staff and students from like schools in our local area.
Students are encouraged and supported to continue on to regional and state level sports if they have qualified in a field of their skill and expertise.
